MAD MEN: Simpson's Style

I love MAD MEN, and I also am a huge fan of The Simpsons, so to have The Simpsons spoof the MAD MEN intro just makes me giddy...

Schedule

I've started to notice that my days have become recognisable to me by what shows I watch that paticular day. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it an epidemic? Should I be afraid? What side effects are involved? These are all questions running through my mind.

This is what I mean:

MONDAY: How I Met Your Mother, & Big Bang Theory
TUESDAY: Fringe (more details coming soon), Greek, & 90210 (What? Why?)
WEDNESDAY: Pushing Daisies (My ALL time favorite show on TV), & I go play basketball from 9:00 - 11:30
THURSDAY: The Office, 30 Rock, & Always Sunny In Philadelphia
FRIDAY: Nothing, usually a day I throw a movie into the mix
SATURDAY: Nothing, usually a day I throw a movie into the mix, or just spend time with Family & Friends
SUNDAY: Football, The Simpsons, Family Guy, & Mad Men (The show I mostly look forward to on Sunday)

Back In The Day

The other day I found this great treasure on YouTube. My brothers and I used to watch this show ALL the time on Nickelodeon back in the day. I wish they still had shows like this on Nickelodeon. Anyways there are actually three of these videos and I don't feel like posting all three. so if you want just click on the link below and then you should be able to find the other two and be able to watch the entire episode.

Enjoy

Leave a comment if you also were a fan of You Can't Do That On Television.

Fall

The new Fall television line-ups have officially been kicking off. So last night was my favorite night of television. Starting at 8:00 was an hour long episode of The Office on NBC. Where we found out that Jim and Pam have hooked up but are trying to keep it a secreat. Not to mention Michael was up to his shananogans by starting the episode off with hitting one of the employees in the parking lot.

After that I flip it to the "FX" chanel to catch another hilariouse comedy that not alot of people know about. It's called, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. The great thing about it, is they ahve been showing back to back new episodes. So that brings two hours of laughter into my life.

Other shows I'm watching:
How I met your mother (Monday)
Scrubs (New season hasn't started yet.)
Big Bang Theory (atleast the first episode.)
Psych

I also want to watch:
Life
Chuck
Las Vegas

hmmm, I'm drawing a blank and can't think of the others.... (I'll be updating this list as I remember.)

What are you watching this fall?

Disapointment

the Office was a re-run again last night, and well quite frankly they can't do taht to me two weeks in a row. Thursdays are really a night that Heather and I look forward to. I mean I had to sacrifice and somehow make it through some lame episode of American Idol where they spend an hour just to tell us who is getting kicked off, that should be like a five minute show, yet somehow they turn it into an hour. It was especially hard when I knew the ACC tournament was on, and Duke was playing NC State.

Luckily NBC redeemed itself by having a brand new episode of Scrubs, which provided me with a sufficient amount of lauphter to feel my night. Of course then I went and jumped on the computer and spent an hour or more on the computer searching for music to feel my play list on VIRB.

I have to just throw this out there though. Jim on the Office reminds me of my boy Chris Burkman, so Chris I don't know how you got a show , but you made it, and your practicle jokes are hilariouse, especially liked the one where you put the stapler in the jello, and when you hid the cell phone in the cieling... AWESOME!
